Spread the love

Whether you set it up on a fire escape or in a private backyard, a simple lawn chair is one of those things that can make all the difference on a warm day. And seeing as fire escapes and private yards (and roofs and stoops) may be the only outdoor spaces we’ll really be able to enjoy over the next several months, you might be thinking of investing in a new outdoor chair to make them that much more comfortable. Because nothing’s worse than shelling out for a chair that’s too heavy or rips on the first try, we asked 14 people who spend a lot of time sitting in chairs outdoors — including soccer moms and dads, campers, and another outdoorsy folk (who’d normally be getting a lot of mileage out of theirs right now) — about the ones they love to park their derrieres in. Read on for their 11 favorites, which include chairs that rock back and forth, cradle you in “zero gravity,” and are designed to collapse down to fit into a tote bag — making them all the easier to pull through a window and onto the fire escape on that next sunny day. (Or to shuttle to your nearest park, once it’s safe to really settle in at them again.)

Best Outdoor Champing Chair

REI Camp X Chair

4.5 OUT OF 5

BOTTOM LINE: The REI Camp X Chair is a simple, affordable option that’s great for sitting around a campfire, at the beach, or just about anywhere. What sets the Camp X apart from other budget chairs, is that it’s made of a highly-breathable mesh with supportive webbing straps, which means it’ll help keep you cooler and more comfortable on hot days, and it dries quickly if it gets wet in the rain. We also appreciate that the cup holder can accommodate large bottles, but small cans are less secure and could potentially tip over in the pocket. The Camp X isn’t a fancy chair, but it serves its purpose well and is a step up in quality from very basic camping chairs.

Kelty Discovery Low-Love Seat

4.5 OUT OF 5

If you’d rather not sit alone, the Kelty Discovery Low-Love Seat is a practical and cozy perch for two. Its best asset is its durability, with a strong steel frame, thick quilted fabric, and quality construction. The heavy-duty materials do however, make the Low-Love a bit cumbersome to lug around. The good news is that the smartly-designed carrying case wraps around the chair and buckles so it’s easy to pack up. The case also serves as a load hauler for firewood/gear, or a small ground cloth to keep your feet clean and dry. The Low-Love Seat is comfortable, well-made, and provides a simple solution when seating is needed in a variety of situations.

NEMO Stargaze Recliner Chair

4.5 OUT OF 5

NEMO’s Stargaze Recliner Luxury Chair has been a favorite in the luxury camping chair category for years due to its exceptional comfort and uniqueness. For us, the best parts of the Stargaze are the rocking motion and the comfy high back that cradles your head and neck. We also dig that it automatically adjusts as you recline and sit up. Another big plus is that the Stargaze dries super quickly, so no problem if it gets accidentally left out in the rain. While the price of the Stargaze is a bit of a turn-off, it is a high-quality piece of equipment and one of the most comfortable camp chairs we’ve ever sat in, which makes the price seem more reasonable.

  •  From 25 to 100 perfect of recline in Diffrient.
  • This provides good lower support.

BCP Zero Gravity Chair

4.5 OUT OF 5

The BCP Zero Gravity Chair is an excellent value when compared to other “luxury” chairs, and has features like a high back with headrest, neck pillow, reclining options, and full leg support that make it really comfortable. The Zero Gravity is the least compact of any camping chairs that we tested and it’s too heavy to carry for more than a short distance, but if comfort is your priority, this lounge-like chair is sure to please. If you’ve got plenty of room to store the Zero Gravity and don’t mind if it’s a bit heavy, it’s one of the best options on the market for glamping or relaxing in the yard. good ho gaya jnab. esy hi shugal mela lagai rakho. available on chair advisor
